Quake would need some work for it to compile with only the ieee libraries and then it would be doing software floating point. Without chunky RTG, a c2p conversion would further slow it down. It's not worth the effort.
An older 68000 version of the Phoenix core was using the 68000 version of PC-Task to run Windows 3.1: http://www.apollo-core.com/bringup/v...hoenix1913.mp4 The 68020 core could be anywhere from barely faster to significantly faster depending on the code. |
