The new version of YT.rexx has been released until today it was in beta.
Here is the file already configured for 4.1 and associated with MickJT-MPlayer
If you have performed all the steps and configured in the Odyssey menu as described above
YT now allows you to watch videos on YouTube
its use is simple
go to youtube
find the video of your interest
use the mouse right click on the video
and start the video with YT
finished

separate note:
Unzip YT4.1
Rename the file to YT
move it to Sys: Utlities
the file is compressed with winrar
the file is already preconfigured you don't have to edit anything.

here the link to the original file:

Hi,
Thank you for your very helpful reply. It's all working very well and it's great to be able to see youtube videos in the emulation. :-)

You can also stream TwitchTV with FFPlay
and search for videos of your interest

the file is already preconfigured
requires FFPlay in Sys:Utilities

move the entire folder to:
Sys:Utilities

Connect to this site with Odyssey:
https://aiostreams.amiga-projects.net/

select the video you prefer
and open it with the voice "PETROL"
at the request of the requester select:
360p

done
this will depend on the speed of your processor
however it should work without problems

indeed it would be interesting to know if it works well for you :-)

separate note:
you will find other items added to the menu to open videos
at the moment ignore them the scripts must be updated by the authors
the item you are interested in is "PETROL" for twitchTV

Hi, At the moment unfortunately it isn't working qute right, bringing up the error :-
APPDIR:ffplay: Unknown command
APPDIR:ffplay failed returncode 10

I've got FFmpeg in the utilities folder and assumed that FFplay was in there. However I could be wrong as there doesn't appear to be a specific 'application' in the folders. Or perhaps my paths are wrong. I did have to change part of the configuration for YT as my drive is called AmigaOS rather than Amiga.

open a shell and type:
sys:Utilities/FFMPeg/Generic

then
list

you should have Generic with it inside
ffplay

the FFMpeg.lha archive located on osdepot
once decompressed you will find the "UnPack" file inside

you have to use this to unpack "generic" FFPlay
and then move the entire folder to sys:Utilities

if you do not double click on the "unpack" file the generic FFPlay file remains hidden and is not used.

Hi,
I have installed and deleted then reinstalled AIO and ffmpeg and double clicked the unpack a number of times but I still get the same error although the files appear to have unpacked as they should, showing 'screwdriver icons'.
Could it be that ffplay is not showing in APPDIR:ffplay or another path problem? My system disk is named AmigaOS rather than Amiga.

edit the cfg.py file like this:

SYS is the root no matter the volume name in your AmigaOS case

sPlayer = "APPDIR:SYS:Utilities/FFmpeg/Generic/ffplay"
sPlayerArgs = "-loglevel quiet -infbuf -skip_loop_filter all -skip_frame noref"

Hi, Thanks again.
It's working fine at the moment.
