Amiga 1200 Mouse Wheel

Can anyone recommend a mouse adaptor for the A1200 that supports the use of a mouse wheel?

Cocolino (and derivatives), and Micromys both support the mouse wheel on PS/2 mice. I'm not sure if it's still the case, but USB HID mouse adaptors didn't support the mouse wheel on such mice the last time I checked.

If you don't mind a little soldering, then UWMouse would be a possible solution. I got tired of servicing my old PS/2 mice and built a full USB HID mouse adapter for all of my Amigas. My adapter uses the WheelBusMouse approach, i.e. submits wheel movement information over the joystick port.

Ooh, that's very nice, I missed that one. Will look at building one in the future. I don't suppose you've thought about selling kits?

I pretty much refrained from selling pre-built kits internationally, mainly due to the reason of (IMHO) prohibitive shipping costs out of Germany.

Instead, I've organized a group order on A1k.org sometime back in 2020 where about 100 DIY kits went out to the hungry soldering crowd.
