Walker whdload crashing

So both on my ACA 500 + ACA1221 and ACA 500 Plus I get crashes in Walker. I tried with or without speech, decrunched and crunched versions. Tried on A500 Plus with 2MB chip or 1MB chip using the above mentioned ACA 500 setups. After a while playing it crashes back to workbench.

I haven't tested in a long time, but I bet the same thing would happen on my A600 + Furia and other A600 + ACA 620. I assume it will work correctly on my A1200 + ACA 1233 or A1200 + 8MB fast RAM. Haven't tested that in a long time though.

I also noticed there are only version 1.0 of the walker whdload. So it was never updated past 2002 I think. I know that whdload was originally made for the AGA machines and that is probably why I have problems on my accelerated A500s.

Are there any fixed/newer versions to find anywhere?

I had a similar issue with a demo on WHDLoad that didn't run properly on AGA hardware, the credits on Jesus on Es were a black screen instead. But StingRay kindly fixed it for me and linked me a site where all the latest WHDLoad slaves are, but I can't seem to find the link at the moment.

yes, Walker hasn't been updated since 2002.

And your guess is right. Whdload coders couldn't imagine that 20 years later there would exist 68000 machines able to run it.

Maybe issue a bug at mantis.whdload.de ? and if you have an error message, even cryptic, please provide it
