Tornado V1.75 is available for download on :
http://.com/files/50591884...do3D_V1.75.lzx The archive is 16.3Mb. Hope it does the trick for those who've found V2.x/V3.x to be unstable. If anyone needs the V3.0 fix upped, then just ask and I'll throw it in the Zone. Enjoy! |

Thank you DrBong! I will try v1.75 and tell you bout my findings.
About your question: Did the V3.0a that was upped a few days ago have the fix applied to it? You can tell by looking at the main exec (Tornado3D), which should be 3342648 (about 3.2Mb) in size Thanks! Yep the v3 exec is 3342648 in size |

We would still be interested in buying out the source-code and bringing back this app if someone can track it down! How is the 3.0 version? Was it in the zone and I missed it?

Know anybody that speaks, or more importantly writes/emails Italian? See my post of 15 August, but it's not clear the author speaks English.

Bringing back an old thread here. This package looks really good. Did anyone get in touch with the author ? If not, i would like to try and get him to try and opensource it. Amiga needs a 3D package. Seeing as so much is happening in the community. Vampires, ZZ9000, Warp cards from CS Labs. Even AmigaOS gets updated. Good times :-)

I hope you get lucky.
Tornado 3D was extremely easy to learn, and produced very good results. It was also the most modern thing you could get on an Amiga. Top stuff all the way. |

I have played with it today. Very nice piece of software. Easy to learn, results are good. If this could be opensourced, wow :-)

Contacted him on facebook a week ago. Still no answer.. hmmmm.. There were others in the development team? this couldn´t have been a one-man-package? Its too big and complicated for that. So there has to be others i can contact. Will do some more poking around.

Sadly, Mr Massimiliano passed away last Oct. :-(
I am in contact with his wife, she said the sourcecode is on his hardrive. I am asking her if she want to share or sell the sourcecode. |

His wonderful wife would like to share his legacy and MAYBE share the code. But for now, its perhaps too early and means a lot of research on her part. We are in talks, maybe someone living in Italy could help out and visit Massimiliano´s wife and get the files needed. But we agreed that we should wait a bit.
There´s light in the tunnel, maybe i can get the code and let some developers continue the work and upgrade/update it. We really need an updated 3D package for the AMIGA. |
