Two Finger Turrican

I still think a touch screen joystick is doable... Half way there:

It's two virtual joysticks connected to the single Amiga joystick
where the fire array control on the right side, overrides the
character control (left side), if moved.

It still needs a timer on the fire array movement,
and the original joystick implementation needs it's origin reset at the end
of every movement so you never have to release your joystick touch.
The start of the video though,
I wasn't even looking at enemies on the screen, just playing with the joysticks.

I'm tempted to ready a distribution in case the dispute is resolved with Turrican,
to improve the odds that I get it.
I'm also committed to finishing the game. I think it's what UAE was made for.

Interesting that it works somehow. But you have to touch directly into the game graphics. This is a No-go imo. Also it doesn't look that you have 100% control over Bren McGuire.

Getting there. The joystick isn't how I wanted in the first place.
It does work point to point now (no dead zone.. shouldn't have to release the joystick touch).

Little update:

I have the control scheme about 80-90% where I want it.
It gets complicated, but I do think I could finish the game fairly now.
The trainer is for practice (which is only fair).
A dumb robot just does the mouse movements and button pushes if cheat status is set.
The only smart thing about it, is it knows exactly when the cracktro has loaded,
the rest is are timed mouse actions.
