Onescapee doesn't work on my A1200

Hi everyone !

I try to make work this game on my A1200 (KS 3.1, WB3.1 + 8Mo fast ram + 4Go HD + CDrom) since a while but without result... However the 5Mo demo works great...

So, here is the problem :
The game boot well from my cdrom, I can see the logo team and the next screen, but when this is the moment to show the intro, there is a black screen, the music just start and stop immediately and the menu screen appear... If I want to play, there is the same thing : black screen and it come back to the menu. I can't see the help screen too neither the loading screen...
I have tried others image disc (in case of mine should be corrupted) but there's still the same problem... so... what's in the hell happening ? this is the only game that doesn't want to work on my machine... please, is someone have an idea ??

So, are you using an original disk or burning your own?

EDIT: Have you tried Installing it to the Harddrive?

This is the full free iso avaible on amigaSYS, so not the original... I have tried to install the game on my hardrive too (with and without the tool avaible on aminet, but there's still the same problem : black screen and back to the menu screen...).

The worst in all that, is that the demo works great
I have formated my hard drive too in order to have a clean system but still the same thing... the resolution set is good too (high resolution for menu screen and low interlaced resolution for the game screen)... Is that the problem could come from my motherboard (REV 1.1D) ?

Has the CD got the name "onescapee" after you burn it?

Can you quit to WB? If you can, try to run Snoopdos, then start the OnEscapee, and quit to WB. After that read the Snoopdos info and maybe you'll find that something is missing (library or something).

Good idea, this is what I get from a working copy.

I have just tried your idea and there're some errors everytime the game tries to "lock" a .spd file... what does that mean ? Lock ? lock into the memory ? so I have fastram problem ? I have check the memories with "MemCheck" found on aminet and everything is Ok...
I've tried Snoopdos with the 5M demo wich works well, and there're the same problem : .spd file read fail with the game attempts to lock this.
