A1200 nos

Hello folks.

I bought an Amiga 1200 (Technologies, New Old Stock, Amigakit) about ten years ago.

I don't wanna sell this gem, but if I'll change my mind in the next future, I'd like to know how much it is worth nowadays - how much could I ask.

It's obviously in mint condition, I used it only a few times.

Could you please help me?

Thank you in advance.

Specs:

- Blizzard 1230 MKIV with 50MHz 68030 and FPU, 64MB RAM
- Indivision 1200 AGA MK2cr
(Cf2ide + CF SanDisk Extreme 16GB 120 MB/s)
(CWB OS 3.9 + TinyLauncher)

all that together? 800-1000 EUR? But like all sales only if you find a buyer that really wants it. If you wanted to shift it in a hurry maybe as low as 500.

I used to have one too but sadly sold it because I wasn't using it enough.

Obviously you'll get more money if you sold the accelerator and Indivision separately

You could get quite a bit for just those two items.

If you have had it for ten years and upgraded it, it seems a push to advertise it as "new old stock".

New Old Stock usually refers to original unused from manufacture stock.

Nothing is "Virgin" anymore bud.

I think he meant it was new old stock when he got it, not that it is now. At least that's how I read that sentence. I've been known to be wrong once or twice

The value will depend how yellowed (or not) the keyboard is.

You're right, I could have just written A1200. Sorry.

That is indeed a lovely A1200 and no need to be sorry

I bought a magic pack a long time ago. I don't have it anymore but it was nice to unpack it all for the first time and imagine what it would have been like to have got that as a kid!

That's a beauty! DON'T sell it, you'll have huge regrets at some point. I speak from bitter experience.

Out of curiosity how many of those NOS units did you sell?

I think I paid just over a 100 pounds/euro for mine. Makes you cry now doesn't it hehe
