Cool stuff

...although I can't imagine how bad this must of run on a real Amiga, even a beefed up one.

I don't usually set "JIT" but had to for this so that it runs ok.

I generally never turn on JIT for any games, unless there's a special case as yours is. What I do however is make sure the emulation runs as fast as possible (assuming it doesn't rely on something like opcodes per frame for timing) for everything - Freescape games in particular really benefit - smoother graphic updates in those means a much more enjoyable experience.

It's my birthday today so while I wait for my wife to prepare my party, I was told to 'stay home & play games' so it's been playing through Mini Doom 2 then playing Damien's awesome assemblage of amazing Amiga applications. Speedball II:Brutal Deluxe is my all time favorite game & I still swear up a storm when I mess up & get scored on.

Ok so I have been trying as many games as possible and have reached the conclusion this is one awesome collection I do recommend reading all the information first as there are a lot of hints and tips ..

Firstly do not select a game and click "Start "
Double click the game to load

It will also tell you how to turn off scan lines which I wasn't keen on.

I couldn't find the " Mercenary" series / Mercenary / Second City / Damocles and Mercenary III or Backlash and Encounter created by Paul Woake's who recently passed away. It would have been nice to have those included. Perhaps an update ..

All in all this collection and setup is just brilliant,
The effort gone into this clearly shows and you really couldn't want for any other collection on your PC.. Its pretty much all here

Regarding the Mercenary series, a lot of people have asked for these so they will be included in an upcoming pack

With Backlash; this is already in Update Pack #1. I'll also take a look at Encounter.

Not really... as I'm sticking to only 20 additions, these update packs are usually released weekly, late Sunday night

Oh, I didn't realise it was that regular ! Probably because I was away for a while and downloaded Update 1-4 all at once.
