Gave Ori & The Blind Forest a go (it was/is on sale...)
Epic beautiful game with really slick Metroid-ish gameplay; you know the kind, you're walking around in large inter-connected world where you gain abilities like wall climbing and with those abilities you can go back to previous sections and get more stuff / reach sections you previously couldn't reach. The difficulty ramps up quite quickly to a very challenging level, absolutely not a game for the casual player. Luckily the save system is rather flexible, so you can prevent having to repeat large sections of the game over and over. |

I honestly thought it because I'm not the hard-core gamer I thought I was ever since my ZX81 days. Yep, NZS is an absolute git of a game. I've already completed Trashman (ZX Spectrum) and Bruce Lee (C64) in my mission to get unfinished games from years back, completed. Might give NZS a break and try another on my list lol.

[ Show youtube player ] I will never-ever "git gud" at this game, yet it keeps on pulling me back in to give it another try. Or 10. All ending in tears. |

I did get BNW for Civ V, but not playing it yet. I am going through other Civ V DLCs and doing quick duel matches.
Also, after looking at some TCDs screenshots and realizing I had only 1 achievement for Lego LOTR, trying to get through game. Bright side of this game is humor and how it links to books/movies, while huge world, items you can make and all achievements can be bit overwhelming. Well worth playing just to see Boromir being killed by banana etc. |

Haha! This will not work at all times! If you get to lazy to explore for e.g. iron, you will get no tools repaired to support the lifestyle () of your settlement, therefore you will fail to provide gold to border soldiers and supplements for mining and so on. Your society will perish!

Settlers is a brutal game; it looks extremely cute and makes you believe that you can take your time relax and have fun; while underneath it is a control-freakish monster that will bite your head off if you don't get those weapons, coins and beers to your soldiers above anything else. Which means no stagnations in your supply lines. Which means you need to build perfectly right from the start. etc. etc. |
