Found some Speedway games
A Speedway fan on ebay had 12 Amiga Speedway games for sale so I bought them:
Disks are: World Championship Speedway - VGS Software British League Speedway 1972-1984 13-Heat Format - VGS Software British League Speedway Division 1 18-Heat Format - VGS Software British League Speedway Division 2 18-Heat Format - VGS Software British League Speedway Division 1 16-Heat Format - VGS Software British League Speedway Division 2 16-Heat Format - VGS Software British League Speedway Division 1 15-Heat Format - VGS Software British League Speedway Division 2 15-Heat Format - VGS Software Speedway Nostalgia - ET Software World Team Speedway Championships - ET Software Team Championship - ET Software League Cup Knockout - ET Software There is only one of these in TOSEC: Homefire British League Speedway - Division One Version (1993)(VGS Software)[AMOS].zip (which is the 15-Heat Format version) The accompanying Division 2 disk I have also has the same Homefire screen when loading (but none of the other 6 disks do) but I don't think this is the actual game name rather the sponsor of British Speedway at the time which was 'Homefire' a smokeless fuel company! All disks have been dumped and ADF's created (uploaded to The Zone - SpeedwayDisks.7z), all ADF's have no viruses (file or bootblock) and no virus damaged sectors when checked in VirusZ with the latest updates! |

Yes, they do need preserving, I wonder how many other collections these will now turn up in?
I'm sure there are other games from these developers, VGS Software was based in Buxton, Derbyshire and ET Software was based in Lillington, Leamington Spa. Apparently VGS Software advertised in the UK Speedway Star Magazine and that's how the ebay seller bought them I think, must have been advertised in 1993 or later as the disks I have say 1993 when loading! |

Sorry for bringing this thread up after a while... Games mentioned on this page (for the Amiga) are: 4-Team Tournament - VGS Software British Premier League Speedway - VGS Software League Champions - ET Software They don't mention any of the games that are dumped. Are those the same with other name, or different missing ones? |
