Sensible Soccer '97 adf format???

Hi guys, I am dying to find sensible soccer '97 as adf. I could only find it in hdf format. I found a couple adf files but it gives me guru on A500. Does someone know where I can find it. Thanks.

do you mean an unofficial 97 update?

if so, quite often the editted swos data wont even fit back on the disks, if the files havent been compressed, or havent compressed as efficicently.

try copying a working ADF of swos 96/97 and dragging the files from the hdf, onto the correct disks..... you never know - it might fit!

personally i'd chose the WC98 edition.... hehe

It's an unofficial update... there's a 2004/05 one that I've got somewhere as well.

And a wonderful mod it is too

There was a 97-98 update as well, both 97-98 and WC98 are in my whdload packs.

If there is semi-official recent-ish one that was released as an single update (rather than loads of incremental ones) then I'll add it to my packs too.

haha - joker.

i was 17 when i did those - i've given up all graphcial stuff now, with the excpetion of ripping-off and modding other peoples work.... (er.. wasnt that what i did with SWOS??)

im sure my brother will laugh if i tell him "thanks from KG" - some 10 years after the update...

At the request of turrican3, I've uploaded the SWOS 04-05 version I have into the Zone. I downloaded this a couple of years ago. The actual executable file has been patched as well as the team data so WHDLoad won't work on it, also it's hard drive only. I also changed one of the teams myself; Norwich (not that I'm biased, well not much) - got their kit right and changed the players' values slightly. (Dean Ashton now worth £3m rather than £800k or whatever it was). Other than that it's unaltered.

Seems I was a bit hasty adding 9798 (available on aminet) and WC98 available on AmigaCU coverdisk, as neither fully work with the whdload.

I did come across this awesome site though:

*FINAL 2006-07 UPDATE*
http://synchronated.110mb.com/updates.html

and this:

SWOS 05-06

i'd ask Galahad for a SWOS slave update, to allow for heavily editted data files, but given my recent request - i might end up being hunted down & killed!

Nice to see those updates. I will test the WC98 i remmember to have on a CU CD.

Is it possible to adapt those updates for a "new" cd32 version?

I've found a slight problem though - SWOS doesn't work on the 040 without WHDLoad... are there any degraders around that will let me run it?

We could really do with Galahad updating the slave

If not for EVERY different variant but at least for the large updates such as

9798
WC98
0506
0607

They can't be THAT different surely
