saimon69 the visuals match the sound. If you create a 8 bit soundtrack on 32 bit graphics people are sometimes shocked.
BTW I loved Worthy soundtrack. |

No9 had a hard time making this right. He had to use several samples for various pitches and played around with soundtracker bugs/out of tune. But the result is awesome. I've zoned the .mod file (one mod for all tunes) for those who want to listen to all tunes. Fun fact: the long tune (last one) isn't hearable in the arcade game unless you hack the highscore timer (which I did). Else you only hear 30 seconds of it. Anywhere else in the game it's also cut to the first seconds. |

small project update: took me the whole week, 2h/day to finish the reverse engineering of the A.I. This is simple and very good at the same time. I hope I can recode that faithfully.
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jo...rate_champ.asm Looks like the game has been made more difficult, there are tests that are now always true, and which make the game harder. |

small project update: A.I. has been fully reversed, including move speeds & skill levels.
A.I. also has been fully coded and plugged in the game. I don't dare posting a video since ATM it's pretty laughable but the main reason is that the computer immediately re-starts an attack and doesn't let the current attack complete. I've succeeded in being hit by the computer once though So that's encouraging and I hope I can post a video of the remade A.I. in action soon. Remaining to-do: - make A.I work properly - finish bull & evade stages - add hiscore & girl count screens - intro sequence - lots of bugs |

Like with your previous ports, your hard work in recreating the A.I. is much appreciated. Not all convertions from BitD had such love in the work. Thanks

Good news came sooner than I expected: I could have my ass kicked by the computer, and got that on video
[ Show youtube player ] (I"m controlling the white player and the computer is controlling the red player) There are still a lot of fixes to be made, but it's promising. And also check the fine remade tunes by no9 (start & end) Last edited by jotd; 03 October 2022 at 07:50. |

you're going to convert my code in C? I don't mind (why do you need that, I'm curious, though), but you probably should wait before it's nearly complete. As the current state of the game is full of bugs and unfinished features... |
