Hey y'all thought I'd introduce myself.

Like many of us I grew up with Commodore Computers and came in touch with them through my father. When he bought his first Amiga (500) his C64 was handed to us kids (one brother) and we had much joy with it. Then he got the A1200 and we got his A500 to mess with and we loved it.

At one point he switched to PC and I got the A1200 with a 20mb HDD I used it daily until 1994 I think. I also switched to a PC seeing that the System would not be produced much longer so it didn't make much sense to invest in a turbocard and bigger HDD. So I sold the A1200 to buy a 486 DX4 @80MhZ.

Many Amiga owners say that Doom compelled them to switch over to PC for me gamewise it were: Rebel Assault and Wing Commander 3

At one point my best friend who owned a A1200 was going to switch to PC and my dad bought his machine so he could enjoy many of his still existing original games, he was particulary into Silent Service 1+2 and Epic. He also bought an 8MB expansion for it

This machine is my current A1200 system and is still running driven by:
ACA1231
Indivision MK2
Micromys
IDE2CF ("dual drive" 16+4gb)

OS3.1.4 (before OS3.5)

At the moment she slumbers due to space constraints but I took an image of her to have fun in WinUAE/FS-UAE
