Every news story has a c5 photo as the head photo. I find it quite disrespectful as he brought some good yet they show the one thing that failed. Media can be such scum. He will always be Mr Zx not Mr C5 to me

It failed as a business back then but electric scooters and microcars are growing in popularity and will become very common soon. A true pioneer!

The girl next door seduced me with her brother's Speccy. We never did complete The Hobbit. Something always... came up.
Cheers, Clive! |

R.I.P
First computer I saw also, first games I ever saw, first games I ever played. Always enjoyed spectrum games. I know big Clive hated the fact it turned into a game platform but I dunno if he realised that was also a good thing and paved the way for the future really! This indeed was an excellent dramatization. |

Very sad news....
I still have my original Spectrum 48k - recapped this year and I even managed to load in my first ever BASIC program that I saved to tape plus a few other bits and pieces that were on there after all this time. Time to dig out the MicroMen TV program and rewatch it... |

THEEE man, the Godfather that brought gaming to the masses in their houses which resulted in many classic games being written in bedrooms around the UK country,...and the pocket calculator of course, very sad indeed, I will be playing a few games on my toastrack tonight as a tribute
...then follow it up with the tv film Micro Men Last edited by ZEUSDAZ; 17 September 2021 at 20:24. |

HAHAHA! In my case, the only girlfriend I had in primary school, and I was more interested in her ZX Spectrum playing Jet Set Willy (my first exposure to the machine, in fact). She broke up with me, and I didn't care.

I started in 1982 with a ZX81 followed by several Speccys.
Beside my Amiga (started, when first A500 was available) , Sinclair Spectrum is my alltime favourate. R.I.P. Clive |
