Congratulations on the design. If I may ask what software can be used to edit the design?

I am thinking if I can just put the 14MHz parts (without fast ram) in the format of a relcatpr board so I can experiment using this with a fastRam+IDE card I have.

Thanks! The design is done in KiCad 4.0.7.

Thanks. Going to try my luck with it. Never actually done anything hardware related so probably will give up ... but will do try it out as I have been very interested in this 14Mhz mod for quite some time.

Maybe an option to disable this and add a jumper too might be a good idea because there are many kickswitcher and other stuff out there using ctrl-amiga-amiga to switch things.

Oh, you're going to add this? This would be great

Is it compatible with peteau ramexpansion? I guess so.

The board has solder jumpers to enable/disable the fast RAM or the timer circuit. It is not possible to replace the timer with a regular jumper though.
And yes, it plays nice with PeteAU's RAM expannsion! (However, the slowram is largely overruled by the onboard fast RAM).

And yes, I am planning for a Harddisk solution, I will either just use the SDbox (I like it a lot) or design some other SPI solution using plain logic. Most work is then going to be the driver.

PS: I have created a new thread below for further discussion on this version of the accelerator: https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=107524
