Lifeschool has very kindly provided a bootable HDF of this game which you can get here. Make sure you have a reasonably beefy configuration set up on WinUAE though, the more powerful you have the more features you can get away with having switched on.

Great score Who! As for 'dominate these days', well, before last year, Lemon lost the league THREE YEARS IN A ROW to EAB, and we're still behind EAB: 3 year wins to 2, so even if we win this years match the only thing that will happen is we'll draw equal on wins. No point feeling sorry for EAB.

Erm... Graham, the LHA archive link points to a gif image of a disk. It's a bit early for April fools isn't it?

I will use Lifeschools HDF instead

I think a rather bigger concern has been that - apart from a small core group of players (me, mailman, Lonewolf, Harry, capehorn) - the level of interest on the EAB had declined dramatically. So the fact that Lemon won (and convincingly) wasn't a problem for me, it was the fact it was so uncompetitive that proved an issue. Thankfully interest has greatly improved this year so far and we've seen some fresh blood which is great; hopefully they'll stick around. Even though Lemon is currently 2-1 up every round has been pretty close which is a good sign and the number of players is on the increase - hopefully this will be maintained.

Ahem! Fixed now. Thanks for that - it was certainly an embarrassing error... (although Retrofan's link solves that problem anyway thankfully.)

Thanks lifeschool
So the last thing you need is more EAB players in the top 5? heheh

Good point Graham here's hoping this year is a busy one
Actually I did compete briefly in the league many years ago (under a different name).. things were a lot quieter back then.

A great game but one clearly not designed for playing through in one sitting...

This game has some serious bugs under v2.0
Nothing is seemingly influencing the score in favor of the player though.

I've only seen any in Level 5
It's impossible to finish stage 2 there sometimes, but not always.
When there's nothing left to destroy - even the 'S' key says there's 0 blocks left - the stage simply doesn't end.Sometimes you can actually see some blocks - S key stills says 0 left - but the ball/canon just flies over them. This could be due to a faller block or the explosions as there's a lot of dynamite in this stage, I don't know.

Elsewhere in Level 5, some indestructible blocks (the ones you can only move) can trap the ball/block areas for ever.
In both cases all you can do is start again, which is ok with me, btw, it's not the point. It's just bad luck.
Except that, some minor stuff nothing important.

Agreed, I spent atleast 30 minutes on some of the sub-levels yesterday and could have scored more, but I had to go to bed

Considering the number (and complexity) of the stages, I'm not surprised theres a few bugs. All sub-levels end when all (destructible) blocks are destroyed and certain (all?) collectibles are collected.

I like the levels with the lemmings

The sub level with the plants or spawns -whateva- surounded by stone blocks and multiblocks is horrible. If you don't kill them with plasma they keep spawning and you can milk them, but its no fun.

Wings solves this sir, but it also happened to me in a no-fly zone.Had to skip level (ESC key).I'm not sure it's a bug or not but it sucks

@ seth Sorry I guess I was too vague, by 'nothing' I mean potential bugs here , not game features.
