REQ: English version of the giveaway game "Harald Hårtand" (if it exists)
Hi,
I know that there exists an English version of the Colgate giveaway game "Harald Hårtand i Kampen om de rene tænder" for the C64, but I don't know if there exists one for the Amiga. BTTR has the (original) Danish version online, but the English one (if it actually exists) is missing. Does anyone have more information about this? TIA. |

I always called this game just "Colgate" ......
Because of that, I was going to say I have the english version, but I just remembered it's in german really... And my version in disk is in german too, and I have never seen an english version of it.. Duh, not much help at all... |

Yeah, I feel 99.9% certain that no English version exists on the Amiga. I'll add to my TODO list doing a conversion/translation, but I wouldn't hold my breath, since said list looks like "War and Peace"...

@Shatterhand
Well, if it's really GERMAN (and not DANISH), it would be interesting anyway! ![]() (But I bet it's actually Danish. ![]() Anyway, please upload it if you have it at hand. |

Usually if you see the å in it's probably danish and not German.
And the version uploaded is the danish version. |

I know many people online who keep telling me that I either speak Dutch or German.
Whatever. Denmark is a small insignificant country anyway. When explaining where it is I usually tell people to take out the map of europe and stop brushing at that booger there because it's not a booger but actually Denmark. Not many games apart from utter childish games which could probably have been made in a program like mediator came from Denmark. The games I can remember are Hugo, Guldkorns ekspressen, Harald hårdtand and Hitman. And then a couple of Lego games though I'm not sure those were even made in Denmark |

What the hell is a booger??
BTW, I can't associate anything with Hitman, neither on the Amiga nor on the C64. |

That might be because Hitman is a fairly new game.
And a booger is something coming out your nose if you've got a runny nose. |

Denmark has some of Europe's maddest bikers, they also won Euro 92 and have a mermaid.
That's all I know about the matter. Quote:
Maybe they should have just popped a cap in each other's asses then written a rap about it. |

I think that the problem with the thing was that someone got killed and then someone else got killed and then they became friends whereafter someone insulted the others and then they started killing again.

Hehe...sorry about that, but I just felt that the record had to be set straight on this matter before we could continue. Snot neccesary to discuss it any longer...

Twistin said : Sorry to pick here (pun intended), but there is another word for the runny variety. Booger suggests the non-runny variety...
No(se) problem. I just couldn't think of any other way to describe the non runny version as it tends to stay put. |
