The newest WHDLoad version of Big Time Sensuality turns the screen green just after the main title appears. Tried with 4.10.1 and the latest betas. Works fine on real hardware and Amiberry. Not sure whether it's a WinUAE or a slave issue.

This thread is only about A500 OCS/ECS disk based demos. (AGA variant of same thread is also only about disk based unexpected A1200 demos).

"real hardware" is almost meaningless when there can be dozens and dozens of different "real" configurations with wildly different speeds and capabilities.

Confirmed. Skull part has bad DDFSTRT/STOP values. Following part writes garbage to ECS/AGA programmed display mode registers, resulting in no sync state and hang.

Yes, confirmed. Demo sets ECS only sprite 9th vertical end bit when sprite is after line 256 (I guess EV9 was also accidentally set when only EV8 was supposed to be set), resulting in "star" that does not vertically end until display end.

A500 ECS confirmed. Some stars also randomly become vertical lines. A1000 also does same.

I don't think this can work without glitches on any hardware..

Confirmed. Overscan glitches that are usually hidden when using normal TVs.

This is regression. Blitter linedraw was converted to smaller "micro-operations" but full internal operation was not fully understood yet. Will be fixed. (Demo uses some weird way of line draw by doing back to back line draw, one single pixel "line", then full line without updating all registers)

Can't duplicate but it could also depend on memory contents, debugging later.

Yes, it works exactly like that, cube leaks and rotation jitters. It is some kind of joke product, works as designed

Great! I wasn't sure because the picture from the link shows differently.

Ps. There are some other possible glitches too, not sure its part of the joke or not. (you'll need to check the whole demo, Note: It is very boring!)

I didn't mean the white dots (it appears in ECS), but the purple part of the logo. (maybe have to wait a little longer for it to appear)

Music works. It uses CIA interrupt and it looks a bit suspicious. Need to do some tests..

EDIT: This is demo bug, uses uninitialized D6 to setup timer. It seems to work if not booted directly (boot to CLI first, then run the demo manually).

Confirmed. Scrolltext mentions something about different scroll speeds when it happens. (But it does look quite bad..)

Did you mean some similar to background star field but bigger and different shape appearing and disappearing quickly? Happens on real HW too.

Yeah, ECS only glitch. (This time not refresh conflict but switching bitplane DMA on and off when you shouldn't do that)

But there is also a difference: glitch graphics also "wraps" around to left border of display on real HW. Need to debug more..

I'd love to join in the bug hunting but I have a spinal condition that make's it very painful to stare at a TV / Monitor for more than 10 mins. Made my love of films a real nightmare..

Does it work every time on the real machine or does it sometimes also cause problems?

For example, with the pack disk "BigMarcPack38.adf / F4" (In the Zone as TSB-LethalC.zip) it works in Denise emu after hard reset but not in the WinUAE!? (I wonder why)
