A new Amiga user from Italy... in 2022!
Hello everyone, and thanks to the Admins for activation.
In the early 90s I was primarily a PC guy, but I still remember when, on a warm and quiet summer afternoon in 1992, at a friend's house in my small town here in south Italy, I saw an Amiga for the first time. It was a 1200 (I suppose) which was running Moonstone. Although with the advent of 3-D the technology would have accelerated dramatically, that music, that graphic presentation and that magical aura of mystery remained etched in my memory, until today. After a short time with a real Amiga 500 and the first release of the MiniMig, now with my MiST I would like to dive deeper into this fantastic world, and after several years as a lurker I decided to sign up on the forum. I'm not a developer but I also made a little project, a "board & video game" for C64 (THE NIGHTLAND) that one day I'd like to bring to Amiga, somehow. I have so many things to ask, I hope not to be too annoying. Thanks again and see you around! |

Welcome onboard mate. Quite a few of us made a reverse journey (Amiga - PC) so it;s nice to see somebody from the other side appreciating the Old Queen.
I've just played your little game on my MiSTer's C64 core, nearly beat a Giant but cruel RNG (and game designer) landed me on Death Nice combo of real props and computer aid - I remember this was briefly a thing in the early Eighties. You should definitely make an expanded version for the Amiga. |
