@Toni Galvez:

The disk image linked in the first post of this thread is infected with the 'Blizzard' bootblock virus.

Ah, that is what I could find the game in Aminet on Tuesday, but not yesterday anymore.

Seems you are right, in bootbloct there is clear text "Blizzard Protector 1.0 (c) 1988 by I.C.C.O."Fortunately this virus seems to be harmless.

The coder told me that there was a virus detector, but we make a new disk with an standard bootblock.

Well that depends on your definition of 'harmless':

https://www.vht-dk.dk/amiga/desc/txt/blizzard10.htm

It does overwrite other bootblocks under certain circumstances. Wouldn't want to ditsibute *that*.

We have removed the antivirus we had in the bootblock (this one detectes if we have something resident in memory, it shows red colour, if not, shows green colour).

Now you can get the standard bootblock game from our website.

As a former MSX user, I´m really enjoying this. I´m curious what took you to implement these changes in the game: monsters disappearing after a while and being required to complete the level again after you choose the wrong exit.

The first I can understand, it makes the gameplay more interesting (ultimately harder I would say). The second I don´t understand fully. Anyway, really solid conversion that does justice to the original without being a carbon copy. I´ll be probably reviewing this for K&A#19.

PS: I suggest you link your website in the OP as there´s some nice extras there.

I already played some levels until I realized that choosing the wrong exit will take you one level DOWN
First I disliked the extra need for trial and error to find the correct exit for each of the levels. But the moment I realized how you can easily find the right stairs, I enjoyed the idea behind it. You just need a little bit of attention early in the level.

MSX game devs really liked to push the envelope a little. Being able to go back to previous levels was not something you'd have seen before at the time. It does give you the feel that you're in an actual game world rather than just randomly cobbled together levels.

Thank you so much!! I am really happy that the Amiga games I have been collaborating are all so good. Metal Gear, Knightmare, Golden Wing, King's Valley, I am keeping contributing to develop new games for our beloved computer.

Is it possible to jump over the mummies on this version?

I noticed when you jump and your head "hits" a brick, your jump movement stops for a while. This didn't happen on the original version, it really makes the game harder than it should be. You should be able to jump over the mummies.
