Hi Vars,

When looking at TOSEC labelled images you can determine what has been added (or not added).

If you don't want a trained versions then just for for the one with [CR-QTX] for example, as opposed to [CR-ATI] [T+15-ABC].

"CR" = Cracked, "T" = Trained.

I know that's not exactly how they look, but you get the point

PZ.

Hi PZ
I think that there should be a forum here that just deals with this and people can down/up load games that people have reconfigured

Erm, what about WHDLoad then? There are no cracktros/trainers. For floppies you could remove the added stuff from the startup-sequence and see if the protection is still bypassed.

I like crack screens. It's a good way of seeing great code, graphics and music about the size of a bootblock.

Must admit, I've got a soft spot for the cracktros 'n' trainers. It wouldn't be the same if they were missing, I mean, they wouldn't have that nostalgic feel and look to them. Cracktros 'n' trainers are awesome and I wouldn't like to get a floppy based game without one, they are a requirement for me 'cause they remind me so much of the 80's/90's

Anyway, why are you sick of carp, I always thought it was very tasty indeed

If you were a purist, you would have bought them as originals!

I certainly won't be wasting my time on such a useless endeavour, if you didn't pay for the game, you've got no business about moaning whats been added.

And have a little backbone, you don't HAVE to use the trainers!

Face it, Galahad is totally right! You got the games for free so you shouldn't complain about "useless" additions suchs as trainers or intros. Also, what's the problem to press the left mouse button to exit the intro/trainer?

You know that without people like Galahad you wouldn't have anything to talk about, right? (besides no games to play ).

beside the facts above, to have around yet another collection of cracked games without cracktros (just the idea is silly) would be unpractical, bothersome (who would do the task?), lame, unnecessary, confusing.

to have a forum to host that, would be idiocy.
