Stop moaning about the registration price. If you have a PC and are connected to the internet you more thn well can afford a WHDLoad registration. |

...well, no... I've tried to locate this on the main whdload page, but there's no info about multi-user keys... strange... Got the key legally - through this registration form on www.ppa.pl With few other guys, paying the required amount of cash, i got a direct mail from Bert - with a personal key. |

I am all for supporting this. But 15 pounds? I know, it is deserved, but still...

Well worth every penny. £15 is nothing for something as useful as this, I registered after the first time I used it and have no regrets whatsoever!

It's more of a psychological thing than anything else really, I'd say. Free software exists, why ever pay.
You have to pay for software at least once and then it becomes easier in my experience. I paid for my password manager to be able to use it freely on my Android devices, it was a hump but I did it. |

Seems gimbal never heard of keepass. (should add it to list of useful windows programs in OT area )
15 pounds is different thing in different parts of the world. It might be 2-3 beers where you or I live, but it can be one day pay somewhere else... I registered WHDLoad long time ago, and it is nice to see your name pop before game starts and that is only difference between registered and unregistered version as far as I know. |

There are a hundred password managers, keepass is just one of them. I picked the one most colleagues were using and I'm happy with it. Everyone should pick the one that fits their needs, no recommendations needed or warranted.

The best password manager in my opinion for Windows is Roboform and you can continue to use the trial version for free if you set up a trial account. Sticky Password isn't bad either and quite cheap for a lifetime license.
