HOL/APoV/EAB At The Classic Gaming Expo
CAPS are going to the Classic Gaming Expo in Croydon (outer London) on the 24th & 25th July, so we thought that it's only fitting that the HOL, APoV and EAB should be there too!
http://www.cgexpo-uk.com/ The general plan is to have Amigas for playing lots of WHDLoad games as well as game boxes and a computer to access the HOL/APOV/EAB if there is Internet access. And anything else we can think of. Is anybody planning to go to the show? |

Ah stuff it, why not. It's not that far so I might as well pop along. I'll be the only gorilla there dressed as a human.

@Cody
You can't take a 120 cm plasma screen to the show by any chance? Would be cool if you could display HOL/APoV/EAB and HD patched Amiga games on one. It surely would attract more people to your stand Last edited by DrBong; 02 July 2004 at 21:16. |

I'm going to get my brother's widescreen TV and take it to the show; he also lives in Croydon!

I think it's a 28" screen - not massive, but large enough to make the games look good.

Hmm, I am wondering if there is any point us bring an Amiga to play games on! Especially the 14" Amstrad monitor I have! Perhaps we should just use it for dumping games...

Well Im coming to the show as well now so I can bring an Amiga A500+ with a monitor (Im 90% certain I will be coming by car)
The Amiga will be for sale too.. so if anyone wants to buy it it will be £25 for Amiga + Monitor. I will also bring all the (original) Amiga disks I can find as there maybe something worth dumping. |

Nice. I got confirmation we will be next to you guys, which probably a good thing if people want to actually play games rather than just watch them be imaged...
Actually, we had better be a bit careful doing that. We probably own most games being dumped (though obviously not good versions of them), but certain people might perceive something quite different. |
