In this game you control a walking robot. You can shoot switches to activate lifts and teleporters. I think in the second level are green plants in the background.

Thanks but non of them is the one i'm searching for.

The robot was bigger - filled a bigger part of the screen - and one of your weapons were "smart bombs"

Just reading the review for Under Pressure in Amiga Format. This definitely is the game the guy was looking for. It matches the description perfectly.
