Copper background effect in Workbench
OK, so this is probably a stupid question, but how do I get those nice gradient copper backgrounds in Workbench I see some people with?
I've looked at some tools on Aminet, but I'm not a techie and they're baffling me. Can anyone point me in the direction of where to start learning how to do it, perhaps a tutorial or an easier tool with a GUI? |

If you have an AGA machine copper-daemon it's pretty easy to use and it's the one I use. For other machines there are others but I never used them.

@Thomas That looks intriguing. Can you give me any tips on using it? At the moment, it results in an error message "Cannot open screen notify.library".
Should I be installing this...? http://aminet.net/package/util/libs/ScreenNotify10 |

@thomas - Just gave it a go - it's awesome, thanks! Just the job, and really simple to use.
If you ever do update it, I'd love to see the RGB three-digit values under the sliders, just so I can recreate an exact colour. But, it's awesome - my Workbench has just taken a leap forward! |

Check the tooltypes of the WBGradient icon.

@thomas
If I'm not mistaken neither WBGradient nor Copper Demon can "copperize" more then one pen. Whats the reason behind it? |

I use Copper-Demon as my 11 y.o self used to !
It has to be disabled sometimes to retain compatiblity obviously. And screen dragging is definitely slowed down. I guess wbgradient, by nature, will lead to the very same issues ? |
