Eye (1988/Prism Leisure) need standalone version NOT from compact
This has FINALLY been done!
From my original disk, that is. Two versions in the zone: one done with rawread (as because of unformatted (?) tracks, no standard ADF possible without RR dump!), the other copied from the extended ADF to standard ADF.
I consider the standard ADF fully working, as I have played the copy and encountered neither problems nor crashes. (With absolutely no warranty!)

Instructions included!

NOTE: 512K Chip mem only! This game does not like expansion memory!
You will also have to turn off your A500 512K expansion on the real thing!

Hi guys, I have about 500 floppies with an A1200 I acquired over the weekend... is there an update to the MIA list so I can check against the ones I have?

Most are backups, some are coverdisks, some are unboxed originals and there is a box of about 30 boxed originals too. I have only scanned them quickly, I will get more time to sort them over the weekend.

"floppy version" != "floppy version"
What Twistin' meant when he conceived this Master List was a version playable from floppy (if it actually exists).
The common version does come in three floppies, yet it is not playable from floppy but only installable to HD.

Can your version be played from floppy directly without the requirement of a HDD?

Careful: these could be BD clones from the PD market. Do not get too excited about titles listed in an index file
But let me be políte: yes there is a .5% chance that you are right about it being indeed original First Star Boulderdash

About Boulderdash (http://www.firststarsoftware.com/boulderdash.htm) : this game never were published on Amiga. So benscoobert, the game you find is a PD clone.

In TOSEC there is "Boulderdash II", "Laser's New Caves For Emerald Mine 2" and "Laser's Emerald Mine Disk" but it's all the same game named "Laser's New Caves For Boulderdash 2".

Beware with the names of Emerald Mine / Boulderdash games :-)

Quite true......there never was a standalone release of Boulder Dash for the Amiga. IIRC the original, however, was included as a saved game with the Boulderdash Construction Kit on the Amiga.

@DrBong : thanks for the info. Anyone could zone this disk ? My old ADF as a read/write error. I have saved 95% of the content but executable files ("a" and "b") got a guru-meditation. "b" seems to be the editor (made by headcrash)

I've upped a version to the Zone. The disk is bigger than what it should be, so there might be other stuff on there. Alternatively, there's a compilation version on PlanetEmu:

http://www.planetemu.net/index.php?s...owrom&id=19934

Just as an aside, I don't think the original Boulder Dash conversion contained in the BD Construction Kit is anywhere as slick as it could be. If you want a near-perfect conversion of the 8-bit release, then try Boulderdaesh V5.23 by Guido Mersmann on Aminet:

http://aminet.net/search.php?query=boulderdaesh

It even has RTG support- very cool IMHO!
