Best TEAM 17 game
TEAM 17 did develop/publish some of the greatest Amiga games - which were your favorites? Yes, it's "FAVORITES" - for more then one game you can choose
PS: Sorry for the wrong/strange names in some cases, but i tried to make them clear. Last edited by Shoonay; 08 October 2004 at 19:49. |

A lot of Team 17's games were good.
Worms DC gets my vote though because it was a great polished game (IMHO the best version of Worms available), and the ability to create your own levels added a lot of lastability to the game. I remember getting a lot of enjoyment out of Superfrog too. |

I voted for a few, although WormsDC if I could only choose one (...but ha, I could choose more!)
Others being Superfrog, one of my fave platformers. Alien Breed 92, the first game I played by Team 17 and it was awesome. And Qwak. I loved it. It was a nice simple game and it took a lot of my hours away playing with my little bro. I've just seen Arcade Pool though. Damn, forgot about that one. I played that nearly as much as WormsDC at the height of my obsession! |

I voted for: Superfrog, Worms, Project-X SE and Arcade Pool. They are certainly excellent games (along with Super Stardust which I forgot to vote for) but I think overall Team 17 were pretty over-rated. Considering how many games they published not many of them are actually any good in my opinion. Alien Breed was OK, although the sequels were bad, and Assassin was OK but the rest were forgettable. Except for the ones mentioned above, and even then they didn't actually develop Worms and Super Stardust. Indeed I think they are 5 of the best Amiga games, but certainly most of their games promised more than they delivered.

Are you sure Worms was not developed by Team 17? I thought it was, although it was published by Ocean.

Worms was originally a game developed by Andy Davidson in Blitz Basic for an Amiga Format programming competition. The game didn't win, but he took it to a show and Team 17 saw it and took him onboard to develop it.
I think Andy's original game was called Total Wormage and under Team 17's wing this evolved into Worms as we know it today. This is what I remember anyway, and could all be misinformed crap. (But I'm probably right ) |

Is it possible to vote in more than 1 option?
For me it's a hard choice between Worms (Though I have experienced it more on PC than on Amiga), All Terrain Race and AB Tower ASsault. I voted for ATR, that's the best overhead racing game ever! |

Excuse my ignorance but what's the difference between Project X and Project X: SE?
I've only ever owned the CD32 version, which is SE isn't it? It's just that I've heard a few people rate the first version over the SE and I wanna know what I'm missing out on! |
