I should receive this game next week... very curious about it and the items you have to interact with...
I've noticed that there isn't yet an entry on http://hol.abime.net/ , if needed once I get the game I can make some scans for it, just let me know.

It's an awesome game. But is there a support page for this game? I do have a slight tech glitch on my system, but didn't think this was the right place.

I received the game more than one month ago but I had little time to play it.
I started it and enjoyed the atmosphere, though, and hopefully I'll play it more in the next week.
The box and its content were awesome as well, very well done.

sure, asking about an issue with an amiga game on an amiga forum seems like a good match

Well it's not a huge deal. Using 3.1 on an Amiga 2000, for some reason if I start a new game, and go onto the the boat, the game insists on inserting a game disk in DF1: even though one isn't connected. the game is running from hard disk.

Now it MIGHT be because I have disconnected DF1 (and not switched it off on the motherboard using a the dip switch). Like I say, not a deal breaker.

Just wondering if you have any thoughts?

Well, I just re-read the code and, there MIGHT be an occasion where the game won't check if you are running from HDD before testing if the required file is on a floppy disk.
So there might be a first bug, here...

About the "DF1" thing, I don't understand why it wants this drive specifically. In theory, the game should ask you for a labelled disk ("ATH1", "ATH2", ...).
Are you sure it mentionned the DF1 disk ? Was it a system dialog box, or what it using the ingame GUI ?

Thanks for the bug report, I'll look into it for the next release (that should run on the same "engine" )

On Lemonsite I prepared HINTS page for this game, endorsed by the author.

https://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=4674 - right just bellow the boxscan, for anyone who could get lost in this incredible game.

It's probably because my machine is confused as to why it can't see DF1. Maybe the game just nudges it's insecurities!

Hi Astrofra, Your game looks great. It just a shame that it's physical copies only. I'm sure a lot of people, including myself you love to be able to purchase a digital download version. The manuals etc could be distributed as .PDFs. Would be great if you consider this, as there’s no need to limit your sales.

I am also patiently waiting to buy a digital version.

The reason why the author can't offer a digital edition is that in the box there are a few items that you need in order to go ahead in the story.
I haven't played the game enough to reach any of the points where they are needed but I understand that it would be difficult to replace those items with something in pdf/jpg format...

Yes, it would ruin the experience.

What kind of items are included ? Maybe include and make a small tool to simulate those on windows would be a solution ?

I added the key to paradise!
There is also a code in the label of the small bag, not knowing what it is for, I have obscured it in the picture....

Well, tbh, from these photos, I see nothing that would stop the game from going full digital. Those are stuff that could be included in a pdf and still work fine. Unless of course there's more, not shown here.
What exactly would ruin the experience?
Not being able to purchase and play it if you don't need the physical release would definitely ruin the experience tho...

I understand the frustration. However, this is how Eric (the author of the "
Athanor "franchise" and creator of the original Atari ST version) wants to distribute his game.
I'm only the messenger, here (as well as the guy who did the Amiga version
