Amiga Music Site - GorillaMusic (Very Early State)
Hi guys,
I've not posted this yet but I thought I may as well do it now! I did a little work on a new site that I thought would be a worthwhile addition to the other amiga sites out there. It was initially an idea of adding music to HOL but then I thought I'd take it further. It's in a very early state (both graphically and content-wise) so don't rip it apart because it's a bit 'sparse'. It's temporarily hosted here: (cheers Zetr0) http://guildserver.co.uk/kgwhd/gorillamusic/ I have a lot more ideas that I want to add including downloads and playlists as well as other stuff I want to explore. I hit a bit of a brick wall with it because I didn't have the time for it but I'm off on hols for a couple of weeks soon and once I return I should have a lot more free time for stuff like this. Take a look, have a browse/listen and let me know what you think. I'm not sure how the server will deal with the site, I've noticed a few problems with it at various stages of developing it but we'll see. |

Me like it very, very much, nice idea with videos with stills from games.
And it looks pretty usable even in this early stage. Just keep up the good work |

Yep they are mp3.
They are all created using the files from exotica (who are also going to be linked, I've been talking to the guys over there) ran through UADE and output to WAV. They are then converted using foobar/lame --newvbr -v 5 because I found it to have a decent size/quality ratio. If anyone has any other suggestions or additions to the site then let me know. |

I'm gonna write a few bits down to help with contributions too. If I'm adding a game I try and add every tune in the game, not just the title for example. I'll keep you posted |

and of course I'll make all the titles as found on exotica (or can be ripped from disk(s)). It's really good to know that these awesome tunes now (or in the near future) have a 'easy-to-listen-to' home on the web . Again big up to you KG! |

Very special. Great idea.
But the TFMX playback is horrible. I think there isn`t any decent TFMX playing routine available. |

Which TFMX playback do you mean plasmatron? Delitracker or UADE? I haven't listened to all TFMX songs with UADE yet, but it sounds pretty correct if you ask me.
