I think there is another problem, the Hardfile of AFA-OS and OS4.1 used by me are all 2GB and work well on Amilator

If you use it on an old laptop and like mine it crashes impromptuly with the 4.12 or 4.15, send me a PM and I will give you the link for the 4.9 (non pae which works like a charm).

Is there a mirror site that might have it?

Thanks!

Amilator con AfA One seems to be a Dual-68080

For the tests I used an old and modest Dual-Core Portable with Integrated Video Card

Tutorial Video: Amilator AfA One RTG High Resolution

Tutorial Video: Amilator OS 3.1 PAL

i tried amilator 4.12 on Asus EeePC 701 and i saw 2 different performance: with RTG is fast (well with the limit of this hardware), but in PAL very very slow and also audio very distorted.

AMIGASYSTEM, I was wondering if you can make it work to change settings from within emulation, something WinUAE is doing.

If I can use WHDLOad-Startup and WHDLoad-Cleanup to run following commands, this would be no brainer to install on laptop by itself.

Code:
uae-configuration cpu_speed real cachesize 0

uae-configuration cpu_speed max cachesize 8192

You can indeed. I tend to turn JIT off for WHDLoad games and use maximum CPU speed. Works a treat. JIT gets turned back on for Workbench and other apps.

I will test that over weekend. Just got nice old Pentium Duo laptop, perfect for this little project.

I wonder if someone can help me place this and batocera on the same laptop. Have grub give option what to boot. (this would make laptop awesome ).

Any interest??

Amilator wraps FS-UAE (the emulator) up in a self-booting Linux host. Basically it boots up and then starts FS-UAE which takes over the machine. The upshot is that you have a very, very fast Amiga.

I have mine installed to HDD on a core i5 laptop with shedloads of RAM, RTG, 68040 etc etc. Full WHDLoad install, with a complete TOSEC set on the HDD and you're good to go. Floppy management is restricted, but once you have stuff installed it's gravy.

Hello guys. Is Amilator still active or it is dead? I am asking because the links from the first page are dead and the last update it is too old. Any new version? Anyone involved?
