Standalone mode remembering previous settings

Hi all.
As always loving the launcher and revisiting my favourite amiga games.
I have my cds, downloads and floppies in folders outside of where I extract the latest versions of fsuae launcher etc.
I unpack the new builds into a new folder and point thr paths to the above.

Is the launcher writing settings to registry as I noticed a recent updated version already found my files before I pointed to them.

The launcher does not touch the registry. Apart from temporary files, it only writes stuff to the FS-UAE directory (Documents/FS-UAE by default), or the portable directory if using the portable version.

(Too little information in your post for me to understand what's going on)
