Hi,

Dizzy just found the box of the german Amiga version of Willy Beamish (or so it seems

). Does anyone have the german version of Willy Beamish for the Amiga and can upload it? That would be very cool

I have the same box, only the box and part of the manual is in german, game is in english.
it seems that a full german version dont exist

Wrong, a german version of that game does exist. I had it back in the day but the disks are long gone. :/

Note that there are unofficial translations of games which are pretty good anyway.
I would be surprised if you could exclude 100% that the german version did not happen to be a scene product.

I leeched it from some BBS back then but it definitely was an official version that was sold. Wasn't any "haxx0red" version.

I can tell you who does NOT have this version anymore.

No idea where it can be found, sorry. Might be that I have it on some backup cd's but don't get your hopes up.

Okay, I will have a look at the PC version and see if I can make a "haxx0red" version

Don't know if it is possible, but maybe the text files are stored individually, but since it is a Dynamix/Sierra adventure I somehow doubt it...

I don't think they are. Just the usual resource.xxx files IIRC. But good luck anyway
