ADFMaster for MacOS

Hola,
I programmed some little tool for my Mac to deal with ADF Disk Images because I wanted to avoid running the emulator for every little file copysession, perhaps someone else could be interested in it. Here is a little Video:

[ Show youtube player ]

You can open ADF's or create blank ones, drag and drop files to or from the disk and so on, can make amiga life a bit more comfortable sometimes. I also included the Workbench 1.3 / 3.1 dos commands so that they can be quickly copied to the image.

As everything I do, it's still in perfect beta phase, but if someone thinks it could be useful, please pm me and I will send a version to test over.

Greets,
Alpha

I cringe a little every time I see "startup-sequence" rather than "Startup-Sequence" and DOS commands entered in lower case. Haha. I'm glad to see DOS is correct in the program. In "perfect" beta? How is beta perfect? If it's in beta it's not perfect, but that's not possible anyway (done, complete, final, cannot be added to...the definition of perfection).

This program looks SWEET, however. I like the script editor a lot. I enjoy making my own floppies, and organizing files still.. Pretty cool seeing a graph of the floppy usage as well as how much is free at the top. I can see great potential for this program. Sometimes I'm using my Hackint0sh (Mavericks) and as much as I dig WinUAE, or my real A4000s it would be a treat to do some editing this way.

I'll definitely download it and give it a go. An idea..and it's merely for fun, you don't have to implement it, I used to use a program to add files to a floppy, I'd add to track 01 01, then track 02 01, then track 03 01, and so on.. I thought it was pretty cool to be able to do that..and it made a disk "seem" like it was loading faster than it was. Ha! I don't recall what the program name is at the moment.

I'll download soon and give it a run.

That's some serious OCD there my friend

I cringe when I see "Cellphone" as opposed to "Cell Phone" or "Mobile / Mobile Phone"

<just joking>

You're just mean with your rotten jokes. Big grin (Haaaahaaahaa!!). Not really O.C.D..it's more a personal respect to the Gurus of the machine and OS --- still. My personal..."thing" I suppose. Though I've met others with it also, about the Amiga.

I always appreciate when others catch what I miss and inform because I do attempt to get mine correct.

Edit: Yeeeesss...I Am joking back. Some might read that differently.

Usability idea, either a list with checkboxes for the C: commands and then a single "copy to adf" button or alternatively a list where you can multiselect the commands and then drag.

Errr,
How precisely do I do that ?
Do I add him to my contacts or befriend him or send him a private message?
Sorry to appear to be such a luddite.

You send him a private message i.e. a PM...

Ok, just do the following:
  • Click on "Private Messages" underneath you member name at the top left of EAB.
  • From the left hand list, click on "Send New Message".
  • The rest should be self-explanatory.
