Wanted good picture editor

Anybody got a good picture editor which will load and save other formats as well as .iff and the file itself preferred in adf or dms format.
I have got deluxe paint 1-4 which only does so much.

There is a PPaint LHA archive on the Aminet. The complete install is 7 or so MB, but you could probably strip it to fit on a single disk.

TIM is probably going to be difficult, and you may have to convert them on the peecee.

In which case, you may as well just convert them all

Why do you need it on a disk?

Not really if there's a TIM datatype. PPaint can read whatever you can get a datatype for. That's the great part of PPaint.

I use DPaint for my work but PPaint for converting to/from modern formats

HOwever does PPaint run in KS1.3? I Don't think so.

I want ppaint to run on winuae and i have all the kickstarts from 1.1 to 3.1 so it should be possible to convert the program over several disks or more in adf or dms,so im not too fussy.

If you are using winuae why bother using an adf, you might as well use it properly with a hard drive.

Were you planning on saving all the images to floppy too?

Oh yes, the pain of setting up the first Amiga HD
DO IT mike4466! I know you can
For starters : http://guide.abime.net/home3.htm

It makes no sense to do it from floppies. No really, none

No problem and I know this stuff Luckily I found some neat preconfigured frontends now that save a lot of the tedious work Good luck that you get those 50,000 games to work
