Amiga 4000 clock problems
Hello,
i've just installed a coin battery kit replacement, but it does not keep the date/time. The coin battery is ok, any idea on what could be the problem ? |

Using a multimeter and the A4000 schematics, measure that the power and ground make a connection from the coin cell to the clock chip.

As jope said.
But 9 times out of 10, its battery leakage as steve said. Could be clock latching chip, clock chip or track damage. Check the legs and board for corrosion. |

There's no leakage, and no corrosion near the battery...
Where is located the clock chip ? |
