Line mode hacks -- What happens if width >2?
I was looking at this post https://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p...48&postcount=1 and became curious about the result of using something other than 2 as the width. Zeros are usually shifted into A foiling the attempt to draw multiple lines but what happens if the width is set to something other than 2? Does a bit of old A get shifted in? Can we get a rotation out of A rather than a logical shift?

Don't think anything too interesting happens (at least not by just modifying some test code I had lying around). Old post by Toni (https://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p...&postcount=254) says "Linedraw disables normal +-2 adders".
Maybe there's something interesting you can do, so by all means do some experiments But I doubt there's a "hidden gem" there. |
