Cons: a lot of folders

EDIT: hmmm, maybe it's not that easy, since they come from different sources/contributors... some verified and some don't, I suppose
Yes that's the problem. Some dumps are bad or garbage....

I am getting ready to upload my first batch of raw streams and have a couple of questions.

I have some games that are not supported by disk analyze yet, mainly games that were coded in C and the protection track cannot be verified (Denis may be able to help verify), should I upload these at all or should I upload to an folder unverified under incoming.

For the verified games (via disk analyze and whdload) should I create another folder for my uploads or have we decided on a folder structure outside of incoming I should upload them to?

If the other people involved agree I think it would be a good idea if you would set up the folder structure (it can always be adjusted later).

About ADOS disks (with no protected tracks), just to be sure:
is it good/required to make and preserve a flux image (instead of a simple .adf file) or is it a waste of file space?
Until now I made .adf images of ADOS floppies, but maybe I should make flux images of my many magazines' original floppies...

The main reason of doing flux images of them is to be sure (by analyzing them) that they are completely unmodified, I presume...

We want to preserve them so I would say a flux image would be best. Some games look like standard ados disks, but may have a protection track on 80-83. They appear to work until l a few levels into the game.

The one that comes to mind is Scorpio. Was also thinking Aunt Arctic Adventure, but that has a custom disk format.

Scorpio is BarryB's dump and I'm sure it will get uploaded. I will be uploading Aunt Artic Adventure with lots of others soon. Trying to go through my collection and validate the dumps...I run into games that are not supported by disk-analyze and start adding support, which is more fun the validating the disk dumps that are already supported.

We really need to come up with a directory structure for the dumps when we move them from incoming and do we want to add info files.

He means that they are in the NoIntro DAT.

Upon further investigation I see they are not needed
