Trying to compile some ASM in StormC V4
I'm not an assembler coder but I need to include someone's ASM into my C++ project so that I can use it.
I've added the .asm to my project using the IDE but whenever I try and compile it I get the error message 'Asm error: Unable to open timer.device'....and this even happens with the AsmTest project included with StormC? Any ideas? Last edited by NovaCoder; 28 September 2009 at 06:02. |

I've never used StormC, but I would look in the configuration for options that say anything about compilation and assembly times, and turn them off. That's the only thing I can think of that StormC would use the timer device for.
