Atomix-like games: looking for more + does Atomino deserves the quickmatch

Earlier today, BdR started a thread on MobyGames asking for the creation of a game group (a sort of equivalent on MG of our quickmatches) about Atomix clones:
http://www.mobygames.com/forums/dga,2/dgb,4/dgm,180360/

1) So first question, does anyone knows more of them, not yet listed on HOL.

There is Halrald Müller's Atome that we should document sooner or later:
http://eab.abime.net/809517-post546.html

Any others? Other platforms than Amiga are welcome for the MG thread (and if non-Amiga references start to flood the thread, a GM can always move the posts to a new thread in the retrogaming general discussion section )

2) Back on the MG thread, I replied, pointing to the HOL quickmatch.

Currently, the quickmatch is Atomino.
However, as BdR replied on MG, Atomino is quite a different type of game:

The major ressemblance seems to be that you deal with atom-like shapes.

Is that the point of this quickmatch? Or was there a mistake/oversight when the quickmatch was set?

The way I see quickmatches, I would rather remove Atomino from the quickmatch and name the quickmatch Atomix.
Or if need be, I don't mind creating an "atom-shapes" quickmatch (the current Atomino quickmatch) and have another quickmatch for Atomix-clone games.

Thoughts? Comments?

Last year I was approached by Mateusz Viste a student who wanted to create an Atomix Clone and was seeking the rights to use the game design and the graphics.

I put him in contact with the two copyright owners, Günter Krämer (SoftTouch) & Rolf Steffens (RoST) who made the game for Thalion.

They agreed terms and conditions and Mateusz released his remake earlier this year.

"Atomiks" is open-source under the GPL license and so can be built for any platform. Windows and Linux binaries exist.

A very nice remake, thanks for the link!
Also, we still remember that Günter Krämer is a thief: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=9133

That was the best way to spread such message as it reached a lot of people. The people responsible for the intro later made X-Copy.
