System 3...did they make "Flimbo's Quest" and the very cool "Myth?"
Yep. As well as the Last Ninja games, Fuzzball, and a few others

Arrow About Videokid

What I know about Gremlin is that it was a fairly old company who already produced classics like Bouncer on C64. I did not know Gremlin started on the ST as first 16-bit platform.

Of all Gremlin games I own I find Videokid the most 'irritating'. Mainly because I am not good at playing it; -I still haven't managed to finish Level 2:Western world. The main character of the game also has an annoying habit: everytime you start with a new life it cries "No Sweat". -irritating.

Hmm, now I come to think of it: the worst Gremlin game of all time has to be Artura produced in 1989. I do not know whether an Amiga version exists.

Stick out tongue Hmmm

Doh. I knew I'd left some developers out. I've tried to edit the poll to add the other developers you've all mentioned but it says I don't have permission to edit the poll?? What's going on here????

I voted Bitmap brothers. It was a tough choice to make though, but I guess the decision was made by the fact that all BB games I've tried I've liked. I haven't played one I didn't like as is the case with the other companies mentioned.

I've played Myst shortly (I saw you mentioned it), and thought it played like a good game, but there was 1 very annoying thing at least about the version I had. I have no idea how to complete a level. No idea whatsoever.

Tough one....

I loved Team 17's smaller, "budget" style games such as Alien Breed 92, F17 Challenge, and Project-X - absolute bargins, especially as they were often tweaked and improved before being re-released.

I don't actually like football, so well done to Sensible Software for making me play Sensi Soccer 1.1 for years and years Great game; the only football game I have enjoyed, ever.

I quite liked some of Sierra's quest series of games, even if they were mainly PC shovelware.

And Microprose also produced quite a few classic games - although they weren't as instantly accessible as most, games like F1GP and Gunship 2000 are surely amongst the best available.

Decisions, decisions.....

Reengade was a publisher, Bitmap Bros. was/(is?) a gaems developer.

Renegade published a lot of famous Amiga games, like Sensible World of Soccer and Ruff n Tumble.

I won't vote, as I consider too hard to choose my fav company for Amiga...

EVERY game I played from Team 17 for me was great... the same with Bitmap Brothers....

and then, you have Sensible Software , other softco who only developed games that deservers ratings of +90% IMO.

I just't can't choose one... so I won't :-)

there's other developer team, who made just a few games, but I like their games a lot too.. Vectordean. Probably the most underrated team in the Amiga scene..

Big grin Successfull First Poll

I'd say my first poll was pretty successfull.
I love to make people think hard and make tough decisions.
I'll think of some more cunning polls soon.

Thumbs up

In terms of usage of technology, I think Factor 5 & Team 17 would have to be pretty even.
I always regard it more so with Factor 5 as they were producing stuff that made use of Amiga gfx/sfx at a time when most were content to do ST/PC ports.
