Squirrel Scsi
I was wondering how you connect a PC scsi Cdrom to the Squirrel Scsi interface..?
Do i need an adapter to do this as my scsi cdrom has like an ide connection but with more pins. And the Interface has a diff connector..? |

Well, the squirrel interface is, I presume, for connecting EXTERNAL SCSI devices. So you'd need an external SCSI drive or a SCSI housing for that drive (you can find those a-plenty on a Mac shop)

No, you can connect an internal scsi cd-rom. You just need the right cable. It's a internal ribbon 50-pin to a centronics like plug. Might be difficult to track down, and you'll need a PSU to power the drive, but at the end of the day, it works like a champ.

That's why I suggested the use of a SCSI housing. No need to find strange cables and use sepparate PSUs, these housings have a PSU and the needed conversor inside.
