A1000 retromod

been working a reviving a 3000T motherboard over the last month and needed a break. the old amigas needed some attention, so i decided to make a working A1000 out of two. ended up stacking an old ICD accerator on top of a spirit ram expansion board. the floppy drive only works upside down so i ended up shoehorning a gotek through the floppy port. i didn't want to hack up the front bezel of course.

Good luck.
My A1000 has a dead floppy and none of the other Amiga floppies I have fit with the original A1K floppy frame and line up, so I am currently using a Gotek as well.
I am playing with the concept of doing a custom frame if I can figure out if I can line one up. If so, I want to use that floppy with a Gotek and a switch on pin 10 (DS0) to be able to swap back and forth.
Unfortunately, my A1K audio volume has gone really low.
I have a couple of capacitors on order and I am hoping it is that.

Love my A1000! I still think it's the best look/feel.
(But my 1200 with his ACA gets the most actual use)

Could you try hosting your images somewhere else, or uploading them to this thread? I'm curious to see your A1000, but the images don't load from your Microsoft storage.
