Is there a way of emulating Amiga OS4.0/1 on a PC yet

I did know if this is the right place for this if not move it to it please..

Anyhow..

Is there anyway of emulating the hardware on a pc to run Amiga 4.0 or 4.1 yet.

Maybe we could discuss it a little..

Well I think the difference was that there was a good deal of old great software to run on those....

Not sure what killer apps/games there are for OS4. Perhaps I've missed something?

Lol - ok, an easier way of launching UAE??

Not sure that is "killer" but fair enough

Edit: may be wrong but I'm sure this would be fairly easy to implement with WinUAE if Toni felt the need.... (still not feeling the "need" for os4)

Toni has stated that he will never intergrate PPC, and i don't blame him.

a lot of time and effort for no gain, what can PPC do? run OS4.xx and a few old PC game conversions slowly.

if you really feel the need to run all this stuff, go run Aros it is better, faster and free. (Icarus desktop has better classic emulation than os4 as well)

Agree JuvUK, I was on about the launching method, NOT the PPC emulation.

Back OT, can't be bothered to look but did anyone ever get OS4 working on Pearpc?
