Amiga 2000 ECS valuation

Hi,

I have a good condition Amiga 2000, 2 FDDs with original keyboard. I've owned it for about the last 20 years, battery removed before I had it. I haven't checked the exact motherboard revision but its one of the later ones rev 6.3+ as it has ECS. Just wondering as to the value as don't see many of them come up often? I'm in the UK if thats makes much difference.

Not ready to sell yet, but unfortunately I might have to in a few months. Not fishing for offers just trying to work out the value.

Thank you.

Oli

Depends where it’s going to be sold Bromigo!

If EBay, then check out what’s selling on there to garner a price. Don’t forget EBay take a fee off private sellers. Something on the lines of cost+postage x 10.6667%. Then if in the U.K you pay 20% V.A.T + 25 to 30P handling fee!

Here's an eBay auction that's about to close: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125362334...4AAOSwKiBioStU
That's without working disk drives though.

I'm not a fan of A1500/A2000 having owned one back in the day. The accelerators were so rare and so expensive. You had all these slots and could never buy anything to put in them.

HOWEVER today they can come alive with an £80 PiStorm A2000 CPU carrier board. Fit one and you get one of the fastest accelerators for Amiga, 128MiB FASTRAM, Fast USB based HDD, RTG gfx card, AHI Sound card, Wifi network card.

The base unit with keyboard should get you at least £500 and change.
