Continuing my personal computing/console history :-
In this chapter we look at an unexpected event in 1991
that lead to me getting my hands on a big box Amiga 1500,
and over the next two years or so I had a blast, expanding it with,
learning more about 3D, dabbling in Multimedia and adding a
card to emulate an Apple Macintosh.

These were peak retro tech fun times!

I had an Amiga 2000, it came with auto booting Supra Wordsync hard card, maxed out fast RAM and it was a 1mb Agnus with 1mb chip RAM too (and KS 1.3). I used it with the Rombo Vidi-Amiga to capture hundreds of frames from movies and use them as full screen anim brushes. Later I added the Vlab Y/C card too. Not very pretty or silent but it was a real workhorse of a machine with a lovely keyboard.
