Power Computing PC504 RAM Board
Hi all, I cannot believe in all the years of reading this forum I didn't have an account! Anyway, I am Mike - you might know me as A1200 from various other forums/IRC.
I start my career here with a question. I originally asked on amigaworld.net but after inconclusive results, Franko suggested someone here might know. OK So I have received the Power Computing PC504 board: Link Looks more or less the same as the one here: Link When I put it in my A500+ it brings my machine up to 2MB chip RAM from 1MB. Great as having 2MB chip is I wonder how I can get it to give me 4MB fast? I have seen other ram boards with some kinda daughter board that plugs under the Gary chip, so I am not sure how the PC504 works.... was there any software? There's no dip switches or jumpers on either side. Link Comments so far from AW: http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/...34430&forum=25 Amigaz Power! |
