Power Computing PC504 RAM Board

Hi all, I cannot believe in all the years of reading this forum I didn't have an account! Anyway, I am Mike - you might know me as A1200 from various other forums/IRC.

I start my career here with a question. I originally asked on amigaworld.net but after inconclusive results, Franko suggested someone here might know.

OK So I have received the Power Computing PC504 board:

When I put it in my A500+ it brings my machine up to 2MB chip RAM from 1MB. Great as having 2MB chip is I wonder how I can get it to give me 4MB fast?

I have seen other ram boards with some kinda daughter board that plugs under the Gary chip, so I am not sure how the PC504 works.... was there any software? There's no dip switches or jumpers on either side.

which os and which kickstart are you using?
are you using this on a 500+,you should have fastram as well.you wont get 4mb fast.

I have a 3.1 ROM in the beast (A500+ 8A motherboard), I booted to test on workbench 3.1.
