Is this possible ? I didn't check if it's present in CAPS.

Isn't the CD32 version of Liberation enhanced?

Not entirely sure to be honest, I know it has the extra speech in the intro but that's about all I know.

surely the ingame speech is only on the CD version too? Major addition is the CD audio tracks, which falls out of sync playing the CD on faster machines never played the disk version myself. |

A WHDLoad version is totally unnecessary, I looked into doing it and it was so well coded, there was nothing I could add to it.

stabilising the animation speed so the CD audio doesnt drop out of sync would be quite nice.... assuming the CD tracks still work ok on a whdload'ed version. |

They wouldn't. And anyway, I think the A1200 is the best version because there is an option to process and store better detailed textures from what I remember making it graphically superior to the CD32 version. |

i've never quite understood that with some whdload's of cd games. surely the code to activate the drive/cdda isnt removed, so what is stopping it from still playing the CD audio if the disk is in? (or any CD audio from any inserted disk, for that matter) , surely it's only code to say 'activate track play 2 on cd.device' or similar?
I know i've had CD32 games HD installed through other methods (original installs etc) and the CD audio has always still worked ok. never heard on any gfx enhancements on the disk version, but as i said, i've never played it. I just know the audio is an essential part of the CD version, and one of the reasons i like the game! |

It can work but only if whdload has special code for all supported CD hardware (not too complex but boring, at least with CD32 or CDTV). Without that special code you'll crash or freeze instantly when first interrupt generated by CD hardware arrives. |

I Enquired regarding a WHDLoad version of Liberation a few months back, Game is pretty stable & It works with my Apollo 1240 if you turn the CPUCaches off.
Would be great to have a WHDLoad version with cheats too though TC |

Super Thread Resurrection Go Go Turbo 2+
I'd like to put in a request for this too, the reason being I've started using FS-UAE which is by far the best Amiga emulator for Linux and it has the ability to boot straight into a WHDLoad thus I'd be able to boot straight into the game. Obviously that's not really possible if you manually install the game into a Workbench installation. |

I've tested a whd slave some years ago and it worked without major prb.
I can do an 'unneeded' install, at least for the disks version. |

Anything to get it into a usable state would be great. Would be nice to have the "just works" convenience of WHDLoad for this game.

Worth it for the music alone, for me it makes the game. Still have some love for Captive I though
