yet something strange happens with this game, expecially when installed on HD

you cannot access directly to the first 4 disks files, those are recognized as NODOS

also, the fifth disks is a fake empty disk, it does contain some gamefiles in add of the lone install
played via disks, the game will ask also for that disk later

---

checked with an hexeditor, strangely the disk 5 also contain that file 6E, that has been fixed in the update disk one

also, when you launch the installer, the disk5 is strangely completely readed (all tracks), and also for first

here, the savestates generated with the game installed are double size than the ones saved playing with disks, using same RAM amount

game code use absolute adresses with extended memory to $80000, 200000 or c00000 but with not relocable codes....

but there are 3 game codes by example:
6e for absolute adress to $260000
6F for absolute adress to $c60000
etc...

so i will try to compare unpacked files 6e & 6f to try to make relocable table to update slave to support 0.5 chip + 0.5 fast (at the end of the week)

Tested and finished the Game ( with the invincible Cheat ) and had zero issues

I used the Latest Install & Beta Slave.
http://mantis.whdload.de/file_downlo...=1481&type=bug
http://mantis.whdload.de/file_downlo...=1484&type=bug

BTW; I found out that the Second Button (Options> Sega-Pad)
is actually used to Enter Doors and Button 1&2 Together triggers the "Photo/Bomb".

Thank you CFOU

Yup, i will test the new Install package tomorrow.

PS: Only Original IPF Images are used. The "Updated" Disk was only used to compare some files; as you know

I Report back tomorrow; Time to zZZzzZZz. Good Night Boys

The Reason why you get this error Message is,
because there is not enough free Chip-Mem to start this Game.

So you would need to use the "Early startup Menu"
(Reset + Holding Both Mouse Buttons) and choose

"Boot with no Startup-Sequence"

Then it will work 100%

@CFOU

I did a Second playthrough and this time it crashed late in Level 3.

So i dont know if the slave is really 100% done (sorry) ; the install itself certainly is.

What a odd and stubborn game.
If that game would not be as slow and kinda tedious, i would enjoy testing it way more

Would be good if more people would test the new Lollypop Slave

(Any Lollypop Pros/Speedrunners out there ?)

Same here. I finished Level 3; (with slave Version2.0) two more times and everything was fine.

Dont know what triggered the Crash in the third Level with 2.0 before

I only did one playthrough with version 1.0C and everything was hunky dory;
But i did more testing with 2.0 since that is out

Hmm; dont know what triggered the crash in third Level before
if you it's crashed, can you think to generate bug report files please ?

i will try later on real 060 to compare (perhaps blitter delays needed with game code relocated in fast memory on fast CPU)

Hmm, Bug report files ? You mean, via the WHDLoad Feature; right ?

Well, in the case of that Crash in Lv3 before; it was no crash back to WB

All the sudden, every Gfx on Screen Corrupted; followed soon by a GuRu/Software Failure.

No luck there for a bug report file ... i guess

Tried WHDLoad-installed v2.0 with TC64v1-Minimig-core, and it crashed on the Frosty land -level (level7). I had set "nocache".
So this time I got quite far in the game. I have that CoreDump saved, would that help at all investigating what happened?

Sure, is this .whdl_register enough? Coredump generated also .whdl_dump, expmem and memory -dumps, which are together about 2mb size.

I didn't do anything special, used pause-key a few times to have time to take screenshots, but probably that doesn't explain crash...
So I was just playing around until game crashed in the latter parts of level 7. Before crash there was no graphic corruptions and audio sounded alright all the time.

I just tried to complete Lollypop on Amiga 1200 (Blizzard 603e+/040), and newest whdload-slave crashed here too. Now it happened in the middle of level 3 and I didn't do anything special. Error is different this time. Here's attached whd-register-file of this crash too.
