EASY AMOS, external editor and FS-UAE

I thought I would try and sit down and learn AMOS, and start at the beginning with EASY AMOS. Bought a boxed copy with the manual and all!

Running on a Mac through FS-UAE.

When I open the .amos files over on the Mac with an editor, Visual Code Studio, it would seem the files are some kind of binary and not clear ASCII. Bugger.

Has anyone managed to use modern tools (git, code editor etc.) with EASY AMOS when running via an emulator or shall I just work in FS-UAE?

AmosPro has "Save as ASCII" and "ASCII Merge" options. I don't know about Easy Amos having those features though.

To do the ASCII exporter, you have to highlight the text first.
